This Studland Bay House wedding began early in the morning for me and my second photographer Julia Conway. We arranged to meet Ross and his two best men at Studland Beach to photograph them in the water. We were very pleased as it was one of those perfect summer days an outdoor wedding ceremony was planned at Studland Bay House.
Debbie and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the house with the help of Louise from Loulabelle Beauty and Tracy from Brideshair. I loved the room and the house, there were so many places to take photographs that even if it had rained it wouldn’t have been a problem.
The wedding ceremony was so romantic and during the signing of the register Debbie’s bridesmaid Nas sang The Waterboys ‘How Long Will I Love You’. After the ceremony, it was time for drinks, canapes, games and deck chairs before everyone headed into the marquee for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were hilarious, especially as the two best men re-enacted Ross’s wedding proposal.
I absolutely loved it here, it really is one of the most picturesque wedding locations I’ve photographed at and the light was a photographers dream and the golden light in the evening meant that most of the wedding party spent the evening outside the marquee. I really can’t wait to photograph another Studland Bay House wedding.
